About

I have spent my entire working career as a personal computer programmer. I used the expertise from working with DEC minicomputers to create software for the first PCs. I started with Radio Shack TRS-80s and a few others. When the IBM PC came out, I started working with it. I contracted for seven years, several of which were with Random House, developing educational software. Most of my writing has been technical writing and user manuals. I taught programming classes in the evenings at Tulsa Junior College for about seven years.

I joined the Tulsa NightWriters a few years ago. This is a super writing club with over 100 members who share their experiences and help their fellow club members. TNW is an affiliate club of the Oklahoma Writer’s Federation, Inc. (OWFI). They put on a fabulous writer’s conference in May of each year. I have attended several and gained much knowledge and met some great writers and other players in the writing market.
